Current advertising status
PickBrief is being prepared for Google AdSense, but advertising code is not currently active. No publisher identifier has been added, no ad inventory is being represented as available, and this page does not imply that Google has approved the site.
What will change if ads are enabled
Google and other disclosed advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to deliver, limit, measure, and personalize advertising. Google's advertising cookies may use visits to PickBrief and other websites to select relevant ads. Visitors can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and can review how Google uses data from partner sites.
Consent and regional choices
Before personalized ads are served in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, PickBrief will use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Where required, visitors will be able to accept, reject, or manage advertising choices before non-essential storage is used. Other regional opt-out or privacy choices will be added where applicable.
Editorial independence
Advertising revenue does not allow an advertiser to purchase a positive verdict, a higher ranking, or removal of a relevant limitation. Ads will be visually distinguishable from editorial recommendations and will not be placed where they could be mistaken for navigation, download controls, or product endorsements.
Planned placement safeguards
PickBrief intends to exclude policy, privacy, contact, and error pages from automatic ad placement. Initial ad load will be conservative, with attention to reading flow, mobile layout, accessibility, and page speed. Advertising will be monitored so it does not exceed or obscure the original content that brings a visitor to the page.
